If we\u2019re being honest \u2014 and very brief:
this website and the social media listed here are the only official platforms of the Furry Corridor of Ukraine.<\/strong>
Everything else is not us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And has never been us.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

What actually happened<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Over the past few months, we\u2019ve noticed something odd: random websites popping up that fully copy our content.
Straight copy-paste: old posts, new posts, images, text, style \u2014 everything. Some even shamelessly steal our branding, colours, icons, and try to pass themselves off as us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We sit there looking at it like:
\u201c\u2026 is this a joke?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately \u2014 it\u2019s not.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now for the specifics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • We\u2019ve found several fake websites pretending to be the Furry Corridor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • They copy our materials, including content that\u2019s long outdated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • They can easily mislead people because they look \u201csort of official\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • They refuse to remove the stolen content, even though we contacted them directly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    And here\u2019s the fun part:
    technically, there\u2019s very little we can do.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    GDPR doesn\u2019t work in Ukraine. <\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

    Seriously \u2014 it just doesn\u2019t exist. Because of this, foreign hosting providers say:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u201cWhere\u2019s your trademark?
    Where\u2019s your full legal package?
    Where\u2019s your lawyer?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    And registering a trademark in Ukraine right now means:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • being a private entrepreneur (FOP)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • piles of paperwork,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • queues,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • money,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • stress,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • months of waiting<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • and another chunk of money.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      We don't have such resources. At all. Nope.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      We also want to mention Linktree<\/strong>, who refused to take down a page impersonating us. We quoted laws, provided legal references, explained the situation\u2026
      In response:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u201cSorry, without a registered trademark \u2014 we won\u2019t do anything.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      How we actually operate<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      This project exists entirely<\/strong> on volunteers shoulders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      No commercial funding. No money at all.
      Just people who want the Ukrainian furry community to have a comfortable space of its own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Our main server is in Ukraine, in Izmail \u2014 in the flat of a person who maintains the site by hand.
      Picture the level:
      if something hits the city, the server gets hit too. And that\u2019s it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The mirror abroad runs solely thanks to the enthusiasm of a friend in Poland. They simply believed in the idea and agreed to give us a shoulder to lean on, so the Corridor wouldn\u2019t disappear if the internet in Ukraine became unstable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      This is not a corporation.
      Not a \u201cbrand\u201d.
      Not a business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      This is a living community building its own space from what it has.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      And now the main point<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      We\u2019re fighting the fakes, but honestly:
      we have no money, no legal backing, no ability to pay a lawyer, and no time for months-long bureaucratic quests.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      We\u2019re doing everything we can with our own hands.
      But it\u2019s not enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      How you can genuinely help<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      It\u2019s simple \u2014 but incredibly powerful:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        One link in your bio.
        One repost.
        One mention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        This helps us:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • push the fakes out of search results<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • make our community recognisable<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • show people the real, official resources<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • protect newcomers from imposters<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • and ultimately \u2014 survive in a time when every project is fighting for its place online<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          This is the most important thing<\/strong>the community can do. And it works \u2014 we\u2019ve seen it many times with other projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          We are real.
          We are the original.
          The fakes can get lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
