This Privacy Policy (e.g. - Policy) describes, how this website furry.com.ua (then - "website","us","our project"), which is hosted in Ukraine, is gathering, using, protecting and processing your data. We strive to provide the protection of your confidentiality, by the international standards, which include, but are not limited to:

  • Law of Ukraine "About the protection of personal data" №2297-VI from 01.06.2010.
  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) for the EU users.
  • California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for the residents of California, USA.
  • Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) for the Canadian users.
  • Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) for the Brasilian users.
  • Other applied laws about data protection, in countries, where our site is available.

We target for a global audience, hence, we are standing by the highest standards of transparency and data security.

1. Who are we

furry.com.ua is a Ukrainian, non-commerce internet-resource, which is dedicated to a furry-culture, creativity, news and community. We are not a legal entity, we're not providing paid services nor sell personal data. Our goal - support community with content and donations.

2. What kind of data we collect

We minimize the data collection process, but still, some information may process automatically, or be provided by you by your own will.

2.1. Data that you provide to us by your own will.

  • Contact information: Name, Username, Email (When commenting, or filling a form, or sending an email).
  • Payment data: Information that is needed to process donations through Google Pay, Monobank (in future), or Patreon (also, in future), data about transactions.
  • Other content: Comments, messages, or queries, which you send through the Website.

2.2. Data that is collected automatically

  • Technical data:IP address, browser type, operating system, time of visit, source of transfer (referals).
  • Cookies and trackers: Information that was gathered for analytics (Google Analytics), advertisement (currently not active, and we're not sure if it will be), or Website functionality (language settings, MapGeo interactive maps, etc.).
  • Data about engagement: information about viewing pages, clicks onto advertisements or onto a donation forms and buttons (Google Site Kit).

2.3. Data from third parties

If you follow to a link onto a third party platform (Telegram, Discord, Patreon, etc.), these services may collect your data accordingly to their privacy policy.

3. Legal basis for data processing

We collect your data on these premises:

  • Agreement: for example, if you agree on a "Cookie banner" (Complianz) or submit your information through the form.
  • Legal interest: For analytics (Google Analytics), advertisement (TBA) or for a spam protection (Akismet).
  • Adhering to agreements: to process donations through Google Pay, Monobank or Patreon.
  • Jurisdictional oblgations: If it is required by the law of Ukraine, or other countries laws and regulations.

4. How do we use your data

We use your data for:

  • Analytics: Improving Website's performacne with the data from Google Analyics (engagement and behaviour analysis).
  • Advertisement: Showing personalized advertisement through Google AdSense. (Not active now).
  • Donations: processing payments through Google Pay, and in future - through Monobank and Patreon.
  • Technical Support: answering to your inquiries, comment moderation and spam protection.
  • Functionality: providing a stable work of the website, including the saving of your settings (language selection) and interactive elements (MapGeo).

We don't use any of the data to profile you or provide the data to any of the third parties, apart from the exceptions listed in the point 5.

5. Sharing datat to third parties

We can share your data only in these cases:

  • Google Analytics and AdSense: For analytics and advertisement purposes (More: Google Privacy Policy).
  • Google Pay: to process your donations (More: Google Pay terms).
  • Monobank (in future): to process payments (will be added later).
  • Patreon (in future): to process your subscriptions and donations (more: Patreon policy).
  • WordPress Plugins: Complianz (to process Cookie agreements), Akismet (spam protection), MapGeo (for interactive maps), etc.
  • Legal requirements: If it's needed to comply with Ukrainian laws, GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, LGPD or other set regulations.

We do not sell your data or share it without your consent, apart from the above-mentioned exceptions.

We use cookies for:

  • Functionality: saving settings, forms functionality and comments.
  • Analytics: tracking the engagement rates through Google Analytics.
  • Advertisement: Showing personalized advertisement through Google AdSense. (Not active now).
  • Interactive elements: For example, for MapGeo maps functionality.
